“You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!” Because after all, July is national ice cream month. About 98 percent of household homes that consume dairy products also regularly purchase ice cream. The average American consumes more than 23 quarts a year, and children ages 2 to 12 years old and people over the age of 45 eat the most ice cream in our country.
