Autumn is the season of fog. When there is fog and bad visibility, a lot of accidents and even mass collisions happen due to driving too fast and not keeping enough distance.

October is National Stamp Collecting Month. The United States Postal Service founded this program in 1981 as a way to introduce children ages 8 to 12 to the hobby. The program also is aimed at increasing awareness about the recreational benefits of stamp collecting among all age groups.

reunification started in 1989. During September and October of that
year, East Germans demonstrated for democratic reforms and the right to
travel to Dresden, Leipzig, Halle, Schwerin and other towns.

Fall is harvest time, which means right now a lot of agricultural vehicles are on the roads. These vehicles bring clay and mud onto roads as they drive out from fields.
