We decided to do something different. The new high-speed German-French
train system was scheduled to be introduced Sunday for the first time
to the general public, so we booked a package deal for an overnight
stay in Paris.
Outdoor swimming pools in the area are open. Most of them are heated
and they usually stay open until September, if weather permits.

To celebrate its 140th anniversary, members of the Ramstein Volunteer
Fire Department, organized a big classic car rally for fire trucks.
More than 40 vintage trucks from all over Germany registered to
participate.
