USAFE Silver Flag training continues on Ramstein

Members of the 5th Quartermaster, 191st Ordnance Battalion, 29th Support Group, recently spent training time in a Baumholder swimming pool to get their Navy class II certification, a basic understanding and ability to jump into water and survive in the water for long periods of time.

The pharmacy at the Sembach Air Base Clinic recently received a bar code computer assisted technology system called PharmASSIST. The main purpose of the new system is to reduce medication-dispensing errors.

The 76th Airlift Squadron will hold a change of command ceremony at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hangar 1. Lt. Col. Mark McLean will relinquish command to Lt. Col. Jim Jovene, currently the Chief of Safety. Reception will follow.
Thirteen members of the 76th Airlift Squadron returned from Central Command deployments this week. The unit deployed one C-21 and one C-20 in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom near the end of February and flew numerous combat support missions in Southwest Asia. In addition, the 76th AS deployed sufficient aircrews to keep the aircraft flying 24 hours a day if necessary.
