Grim circumstances around the world in recent weeks have upset our
normal routines and remind us of the role we play as U.S. service
members overseas.

Having served for almost a quarter of a century in the Air Force and
having been a woman for almost twice that, I can say this is a different
Air Force than when I first joined.

More than 70 U.S. Airmen and Soldiers headed to Romania Monday to officially mark the kickoff of Carpathian Spring 2011.

To those people thinking of sending Easter eggs stateside this year:
beware. Regular chicken eggs and Kinder surprise chocolate eggs are
banned from import to the states, and those who violate this ban may be
subject to heavy fines.

In the wake of Japan

The Ramstein Tax Center is sponsoring an upcoming Tax Saturday for 1040
EZ filers.  The Tax Center (located in the Legal Office, Bldg. 2137)
will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 26, to assist active duty military
members who qualify to file their taxes on a Form 1040 EZ. You qualify
to use a Form 1040 if all of the following apply:
