May 10
1:58 p.m.: A local national was accused of shoplifting from the Vogelweh Commissary. Security forces made contact with the local national, who refused to cooperate then later admitted to stealing property from the commissary. Security forces seized the local national’s installation pass.


May 11
5:30 p.m.: An Airman misjudged distance while driving and struck a local national’s vehicle. The Airman fled the scene without exchanging proper information and was later advised of his legal rights.

7:45 p.m.: A local national observed an Airman via electronic security surveillance system at a store in Kaiserslautern selecting property and departing without paying. Security forces were contacted by Polizei and the Airman was advised of his legal rights.

May 12
12:41 a.m.: A dependent was observed by Polizei operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. Upon contact, Polizei determined the dependent to be possibly under the influence of a controlled substance. A urinalysis came back positive for cannabis.  The dependent was advised of his legal rights.

May 13
3:05 a.m.: Polizei conducted a routine traffic stop on an Air Force NCO. Upon contact, Polizei detected a strong odor of alcohol. The NCO was advised of his legal
rights.

9:55 p.m.: An Airman and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when the Airman grabbed her finger and twisted it. The wife then struck his upper body with an open hand and scratched him on his shoulder. Medical attention was declined. 

May 14
5:50 a.m.: Two Soldiers were involved in a physical altercation.  There were no reported injuries but one Soldier requested medical attention due to blood pressure issues and his level of intoxication. He was transported to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Both individuals were advised of their legal rights.

7:05 a.m.: Polizei stopped an Airman for a routine traffic stop. Upon contact, Polizei determined the Airman was possibly under the influence of alcohol. The Airman was advised of his legal rights.

May 15
9:50 a.m.: An Air Force officer reported theft of his motor vehicle. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

10:40 a.m.: An Airman reported theft of his motor vehicle in Landstuhl. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

May 16
4:15 p.m.: A group of local nationals who work for the U.S. government formed at the west gate traffic circle for an unscheduled protest. They were supposed to depart as a group to Queidersbach where a work council related event was being conducted.  The group was protesting for a salary increase.
