AFOSI seeks NCOs for duty as special agents

The Air Force Office of Special Investigations is seeking exceptional noncommissioned officers for duty as enlisted special agents.

AFOSI 13 FIS will conduct a recruitment briefing at 2 p.m. the last Wednesday of every month at the AFOSI 13 FIS office in Bldg. 2401 on Ramstein. All interested U.S. Air Force military members interested in cross training into AFOSI must attend one of the monthly briefings in order to progress through the recruitment process.
Every special agent is a volunteer. They are members of a highly trained team that investigate crimes against people and property, defeat and deter base-level and contract fraud, combat threats to our information systems and technologies, and provide the Air Force with counterintelligence support for its force protection mission.

Senior Airmen with less than six years time in service and staff sergeants through technical sergeants with outstanding records and fewer than 12 years of military service are eligible. Senior Airmen must be in their cross training window: 35 to 43 months for four-year enlistees and 59 to 67 months for six-year enlistees. Members must be within 14 months of their DEROS.

Applicants with foreign language, computer and technical skills are among those highly sought after by the AFOSI.
