Air Force officials are seeking to develop officers as strategic
thinkers through a program that will allow them to obtain a doctorate
in strategic studies.

the world for special greetings to be aired during the holiday season.

Twenty-three emergency management coordinators from various U.S.
installations in Rheinland-Pfalz traveled to Trier Sept. 1 to meet some
of their German counterparts at the Rheinland-Pfalz Supervision and
Service Administration

A chemical plant in a foreign country accidently releases a plume of
toxic fumes causing panic, sickness and numerous deaths within the city
where the plant is located. Adding to all the chaos, the weather makes
the situation worse for the citizens who live in the area of direct
impact. A call comes from the foreign country for U.S. assistance. Who

Participants of command post exercises here in Europe are probably
quite familiar with the following scene: you pick up the telephone to
call a response cell that simulates some agency your unit is
interacting with. On the other end, a role player picks up and offers a
scripted answer in an unconvincing foreign accent that provides
information that is the best-informed guess at what would really happen.

Preventing suicide is a priority at Europe Regional Medical Command,
throughout U.S. Army Europe and the entire Department of Defense. And
that priority will be emphasized during Suicide Prevention Month this
month as a call to action goes out to all military communities.
