KMC Job Shadow Day will be Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. All Department of Defense school children are invited to attend various events throughout KMC installations. Job Shadowing provides young people with an up-close look at how skills learned in the classroom are put to use in the workplace.

The U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern libraries have started Operation
Kid Comfort in the KMC with hopes that it will catch on at other
military communities in Europe.

NASA Space Camp is a place where kids come together for a journey they
will never forget. Each child learns about astronauts and space travel,
and also develops something even more important: the bonds of
friendship.
