Armed Forces racquetball tournament hits Ramstein
Participants from six countries converged on Ramstein recently to take
part in the 2006 U.S. Forces in Europe Racquetball Championships. The
championships were held Saturday at the Ramstein southside and
northside fitness centers and saw participants from Germany, Italy,
Portugal, England, Kosovo and Turkey.

Swim coaches needed
Swim coaches needed
The Kaiserslautern Kingfish Swim Team needs swim coaches for children
ages 6 to 18. Off-season practices are held at Baumholder and Miesau
during the summer. The main season is September to February. For

101 days of Fit Factor fun
Fit Factor is a great Air Force initiative to get youth, between the
ages of 9 and 18, on the right path to leading active and healthy
lives. Through this program, youth can achieve points from
participating in a variety of activities ranging from sports,
completing daily chores, eating healthy, participating in instructional
classes, and much more. Through acquiring points, participants will
achieve the different levels of fitness and at each level receive
incentives for their hard work and dedication. Furthermore, this
summer, participants will have the chance to receive 150 Extreme Summer
points for each level they reach. So, if a child takes part in Extreme
Summer this is just another way to earn points while being active and
just having fun.

Rugby Champs
The RAF Ramstein Rogues Rugby Football Club defeated a well trained
team from Mainz University this past Saturday by a score of 21-5. This
victory evened the score between the two sides from last year, where
Mainz RFC defeated RAF Ramstein 26-0. With this victory, and the points
differential between all the other matches played during the past year
for Rheinland Pfalz, the RAF Ramstein Rogues again claimed the
championship of Division-III rugby in their German state, re-claiming
the trophy from Mainz. Playing teams from Trier, Worms, Mainz and
KL-Speyer in a round-robin format, home and away matches, the Rogues
tied wins and losses with Mainz, and after review of the point spread
between opponents, RAF Ramstein claimed victory.

World Cup Ride
British cyclists ride 1,500 miles for charity
The road to the World Cup was long and hard for four British Royal Air
Force cyclists as they cycled 1,500 miles in 10 days, visiting all 12
stadiums where the FIFA 2006 World Cup football matches will be played.

National Football League commissioner Paul Tagliabue made one last
