Heidelberg Generals and Lady Generals beat Kaiserslautern Panthers and Lady Panthers during the community-level basketball game Jan. 31 at Kleber Gym.

 Youth and experience met on the court Saturday for the Teen vs. Staff Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Landstuhl Elementary School Gym, and in overtime, youth won out, 98-90.

The 786th Civil Engineer Squadron sits atop the National League through Jan. 8. with a perfect 9-0 record, but the 786th Communications Squadron is knocking at the door with only one loss. Many other teams are still hoping that more victories will move them to the top of the ranks before the season ends.

he 86th Services Squadron Fitness Centers announced the six outstanding nominees for the 2003 Ramstein Athletes of the Year. Two local winners were chosen and forwarded for competition at the U.S. Air Forces in Europe level.
