CEG assigns light fraction, cardboard containers

***image1***The 435th Civil Engineer Group has begun issuing green containers in Ramstein’s Military Family Housing to make recycling easier.
The overall plan includes obtaining green containers for the remainder of MFH units by the beginning of July.
People are asked to place cans, plastic containers, plastic bottles, plastic covered milk cartons and other light fraction material in the “Light Fraction” container.
Housing residents can use any type of plastic bag, not only the yellow bags, in these containers.
Marked containers for cardboard will also be provided.
The containers must be stored behind the buildings and rolled out by the occupants on Wednesday nights no earlier than 6 p.m. or Thursday morning no later than 6 a.m.
The canisters must also be rolled back Thursday evenings no later than 6 p.m.
The 435th CEG encourages people to continue in their recycling efforts.
