Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Did You Know?
• 1.1 million Hispanics have served in the U.S. Armed Forces
• Approximately 63,000 Hispanics are currently serving in today’s military

Hispanic Heritage Month events:
• Members of the Hispanic Heritage Club will have Family Night 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ramstein Community Center and “Story Time” 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Sembach Library.
• The Hispanic Heritage Observance Banquet takes place Oct. 14 at the Ramstein Officers’ Club:
Cocktails: 6 to 7 p.m.
Dinner: 7 to 8 p.m.
Entertainment, dancers, door prizes, DJ music and dancing: 8 p.m. to midnight

Tickets cost $25 per person. Ramstein Officers’ and Enlisted club members receive a $3 discount.

Tickets will be on sale Saturday and Sunday outside the Ramstein and Vogelweh food courts.

Dress is semi to formal civilian attire.
Those who would like to join the Hispanic Heritage Club, can attend the meetings 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ramstein Community Center multipurpose room, Bldg. 412.  Everyone is invited to attend.
