KMC Fall clean-up coming
The KMC Fall Cleaning for operational areas is Nov. 7. Organize clean-up crews today to ensure a successful clean-up day. Use your “Facilities Excellence” checklist to make sure all critical areas are covered.

Cleaning for housing areas and dormitories is Nov. 8.  Activities should include window cleaning, removing weeds, mowing, trimming, and raking leaves. For the interior of the facility, the focus should be on cleaning out storage rooms, dusting, washing windows and removing cobwebs. If you do not have the means to transport leaves and branches to the composting yard, bag them and place them next to the main curb for CE to pick up. Excessive trash and recyclables should be transported to a KMC recycling center.

The Self-Help Center is available to assist with all tool and equipment needs, and it stocks biodegradable garbage bags, grass seed, and hand tools, including weed eaters, hedge trimmers, power washers, rakes and shovels.
