U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s Equal Opportunity Office hosts Prevention of Sexual Harassment Refresher Training at 9 a.m. July 15 at the Vogelweh Community Center. POSH training for new Department of Army civilians is 10 a.m. to noon July 21 at the Vogelweh Community Center. SKIESUnlimited offers a six-week photography class for children ages 8 to 18. Learn photography from a professional photographer with 30 years experience. Classes take place from 5 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday for 8- to 12-year-olds and 6 to 7 p.m. for
13- to 18-year-olds. Classes cost $50 per session.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Annual Training is mandatory for all Air Force AD, Guard and Reserve personnel and for any civilians who supervise these personnel. This training must be accomplished by Sept. 29. Training will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Hercules Theater on July 28, Aug. 4, 11, 18 and 25, and Sept. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. The Kaiserslautern’s Army Career and Alumni Program Office hosts pre-separation briefings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday in Room 207, Bldg. 3245 on Kleber Kaserne. These briefings are mandatory and provide the required paperwork for separation and retirement orders. Soldiers who are one year from their estimated time of service and two years from their retirement dates should call the ACAP Office for appointments.
Soldiers must attend a briefing no later than 90 days prior to separating from the Army. Spouses of active-duty Soldiers are entitled to the services offered by ACAP. These services include resume classes, registering for Veterans Affairs’ briefings and job searches. Retired Soldiers and their spouses are entitled to ACAP assistance for life. Employee Assistance Program-Substance Abuse Training is held from 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 20 for all Department of Army civilians and from 1 to 2 p.m. for supervisors. Training takes place at the Learning Center, Bldg. 3718 on Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. This counts as one hour of the two-hour annual requirement for Department of Army civilians. The Ramstein Liturgical Service is accepting bids for the contract position for Ramstein Liturgical Service religious education coordinator and parish facilitator. The religious education coordinator provides support for effective worship and religious education ministry for the Liturgical Service. They also ensure continuity in the worship service and is an active part of the ministry support team.
The parish facilitator serves as continuity and relieves much of the administrative requirements necessary for running the congregation so that the assigned chaplain is able to meet required TDYs, training and deployment requirements. The chapel will be accepting bids until 4 p.m. July 24. The Statement of Work for both positions can be picked up Monday through Friday from the Ramstein North Chapel.
