Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show
Five categories will be judged at the Earnest Harris Memorial Car Show, held May 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pulaski Auto Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Summer Reading Program 2025
Register for the free 2025 Summer Reading Program: “Level Up” with your USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Libraries: Baumholder, Kleber and Landstuhl. Registration for active-duty military members to box in the 250th Army Celebration: Boxing-Rumble on The Rock is now to June 11. The event starts at 5 p.m. on June 14 at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks. Doors open at 4 p.m. Cost to attend is $10. Children under 12 are free to attend. Pulaski Auto Skills Summer Hours
Summer hours will start June 1 and end Sep. 30 at the Pulaski Auto Skills Center, Bldg. 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. The hours for the Craft Shop will be extended to 7 p.m. Oil changes will be from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. SKIES Driver’s Education
SKIES Unlimited is offering Driver’s Education for ages 15 to 18. Registration opens June 2. Cost is $350. Classes are July 14 to 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Course includes 45 credit hours, theory and driver simulator training. All participants must be registered with Army MWR Child and Youth Services. Thursday Night Comedy Show
Featured BBC Comedian, Shane Callaghan headlines the Thursday Comedy Show June 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. Featured comedians are Fay Walsh, who appeared on Comedy Central, and German Comedian Philipp Leinenbach. This is an 18+ event. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $15 at the door. U.S. Army 250th Birthday 5k Run
Army Family and MWR will proudly host a free 5k run in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The distance of 5K can be walked or run. Dogs, strollers and families are welcome. First place finishers in the male, female and child categories will receive a prize. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the run starts 10 a.m. at the Special Events Center.
SKIES Irish Dance Classes

2025 USAG RP Unit Level Softball Leagues
Registration for the USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Unit Level Softball Season is now to May 16. Softball Season for Baumholder and Kaiserslautern is from May 27 to July 21 with games played at the Soldier Field on Smith Barracks in Baumholder and at the KAD Fields, near Daenner Kaserne, in Kaiserslautern. Army Active Duty, family members, and DOD civilians with ID cards, who are ages 18 and older, are eligible to participate. Sports Officials needed. If interested, contact your local sports office. Baumholder, Landstuhl and Pulaski Auto Skills Centers are offering Summer Tire Mounting and Balance Special during May. The special is 10% off mounting and balancing of tires when utilizing their Speedy Lube tire services or when performing the mounting and balancing in the self-help sections. Unit Level Soccer Season
The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Intramural Sports Program announces the 2025 Unit Level Soccer Season from June 24 to Aug. 14 for the Baumholder and Kaiserslautern Military Communities. Registration for both communities is now until May 31. Letters of Intent are available at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center for the Baumholder community, and the Kleber Physical Fitness Center for the Kaiserslautern community. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club
The new open sessions of free beginner dance lessons is every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. The focus is Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles are also available upon request. No experience necessary. New sessions are: May 21 to June 18; and July 9 to Aug. 6. Wear smooth bottom shoes. Register with Landstuhl Youth Center
The Landstuhl Youth Center is a facility for youth in grades 6th-12th that offers a wide range of programs and activities Monday through Friday, after school. This free program is available to youth who have a military affiliation in Germany. Homeschooled youth, and youth who attend either a German or DODEA school are welcome to join.
