The new program features 26 performances of all kinds to include musical entertainment, dance performances, theater plays and cabaret.
“Ever since the Haus des Bürgers opened, it offered, in cooperation with the Salten Theater Agency, a diversified cultural program for the region,” said Mr. Layes.

The speaking theater program features several German comedies.
Generally performances start at 8 p.m.

“Parents who don’t have anybody to watch their children can use our babysitter service,” said Gerhard Denzer, manager of Haus des Bürgers.
“If parents let us know three days in advance, we can arrange for well-trained babysitters, who take care of the children in the library, right next to the performance hall.” Cost is half of the ticket price or at least €6.

“As time comes closer, we will arrange special projects for the Soccer World Cup next year,” said Mr. Layes. “We just need to wait until December to find out what teams will play in Kaiserslautern and then we might contact the appropriate NATO units on Ramstein to organize events.”

The Haus des Bürgers offers season tickets at reduced prices. The classical music season ticket includes six concerts and the selection season ticket offers a choice of seven from 22 performances.

Tickets are available at the ticket office in the Haus des Bürgers 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
