Ramstein hosted its annual Day for Kids event Sept. 7.

Ramstein’s youth program and the Boys and Girls Club of America sponsored the day of fun with the purpose of bringing parents and their children together to have a good time.

During the day, there was a great deal of fun activities and family fun events, where parents and children spent the day together and where children could just enjoy being kids.

Ring toss, miniature bowling, a weapons display from security forces and an obstacle course were just a few of the day’s highlights.

This event is hosted every year on this day in conjunction with  the opening day of youth sports. By maximizing participation, a Day for Kids works to spread the word about the great events the sports program, the youth program and the local community have for children.
