There are many crucial elements that have an effect on a child’s education and the ability of the KMC Department of Defense Dependents Schools to have the right class sizes, the right number of teachers and the right amount of supplies.

The first crucial element is 100 percent participation during registration.

Here is what each sponsor/parent of a returning student needs to do:
• Registration packets have been sent home with the students, and parents should return them to their school’s respective re-registration sites from Monday to Friday.

• If you have not received a registration package, check your email, school websites, etc., as different avenues may have been used. You can also use the available blank registration forms that shall be provided at the registration site.

• The completed registration forms must be accompanied by the following documentation: PCS orders with dependent information and current DEROS (if extended), and proof of residence, no older than 90 days, which could be as simple as a water bill showing your physical address.

New students are encouraged to register. Registration forms will be available for download at the school website and at the registration site.

Registration for new students must be accompanied by the following documentation:
• PCS orders with dependent information

• Proof of residence, no older than 90 days

• Students shot records

• Students Social Security number

• Previous school records/address

• Birth certificate/passport (Kindergarten and first grade only)
