Good grooming: facial hair regulation

Do you know the Air Force standards for men’s facial hair?  Mustaches must be neatly trimmed and not extend downward beyond the line of the upper lip or extend sideways beyond the corners of the mouth.  Sideburns will be neatly trimmed, tapered similar to the haircut, be straight and of even width (not flared), and end in a clean-shaven horizontal line.  They must not extend below the lowest part of the exterior ear opening. Beards are permitted only when authorized by a commander on advice of a medical official, and then it must be trimmed not to exceed 1/4 inch in length.
