Golf playoffs in ‘full swing’

The second round of the intramural golf playoffs was completed Tuesday.
Eighteen teams were reduced to 10 following this round.

The action started with the 435 MMS(A) team teeing-off against the 1 CMXS team. MMS came away with a 5-1 victory. AFETS followed with a default victory due to forfeiture. Next up U.SFS came away with a 4-2 victory over WPC and U.A4 won 4-2 over 435 CPTS.

The afternoon games started with a 3-3 tie between 86 OSS and 435 CS(A). OSS was victorious due to better scorecards.

U.CSS(A) followed with 4.5-1.5 win over 435 LRS(A). CC-AIR was next with a 6-0 victory over U.CSS(B).

The final match of the day was a 4.5-1.5 victory by U.RSS over U.CES.
Teams from the 38 CTS and U.OWS(A) received byes to the third round.
The 10 teams remaining will resume action when the third round tees off Tuesday. All matches will be held at the Woodlawn Golf Course.
