Visitors of the pre-Christmas creative market find unique arts and crafts items and Christmas gifts Saturday and Sunday at the Haus des Bürgers in Ramstein-Miesenbach.

The traditional pre-Christmas arts and crafts exhibition at the Ramstein-Miesenbach culture and convention center, the Haus des Bürgers, will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

More than 60 hobby artists and crafters will present their creative works and their techniques on two floors.

“We’ll have exhibitors from Rheinland-Pfalz, the Saarland, Hessen and France,” said organizer Marita Altherr. “Visitors can look over their shoulders and learn how they create items at festively decorated stands.”

Children can attend two workshops in the basement, next to the cafeteria. Visitors can enjoy fresh cinnamon waffles and a big variety of homemade cakes.

“We again offer our popular raffle. Proceeds will go to the Ramstein-Miesenbach Hospice Aid,” Altherr said.

Admission to the exhibition is free.

“Our organizing crew is happy to welcome many guests,” Altherr said.
