***image1***Maj. Gen. Bennie E. Williams, 21st Theater Support Command’s commanding general (right), awards the Purple Heart Medal to Staff Sgt. Ryan Ragan of the 1st Transportation Movement Control Agency, 14th Trans Battalion, 495th Movement Control Team recently. It was the first Purple Heart Medal earned by a 21st TSC Soldier during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Staff Sergeant Ragan was injured while coordinating bus transportation for Soldiers going on Rest and Recuperation near Tikrit, Iraq, Nov. 13.
