Montain run
The Steinbach Running Club sponsors the 7.2-kilometer-long Donnersberg mountain run Feb. 24. Start is at 3 p.m. at the Buergerhaus in Kirchstrasse 4, 67808 Steinbach. The trail has an altitude difference of 418 meters. Finish is at the peak of Donnersberg hill, 687 meters high. Runners’ warm clothing (without valuables) will be brought to the destination The award ceremony is at 5 p.m. at the Buergerhaus in Bahnpfad 1, 67728 Muenchweiler. Fee is €8 for adults and €6 for youth. On the day of the run, participants have to register by 2:30 p.m. on the spot.
