KHS wins track meet


***image1***KHS senior Josiah Baldwin qualified for the men’s 100-meter hurdles with 17.89 seconds in his event. The Kaiserslautern High School Raiders dominated the track meet hosted at Ramstein High School April 19. Other participating DODDs schools included Baumholder, Hanau and Brussels high schools. The KHS girls’ team won by 130 points and the boys’ team won by 4.5 points. To date, the KHS track team currently has 25 qualified for the European Championships scheduled for late May in Wiesbaden. The KHS Raiders continue to train hard for the upcoming championship with new head coach, Dennis DePriest, and his dedicated coaching staff.
