***image1***The Kingfish took their home opener Sunday in Baumholder. The Kingfish
showed their stuff and let their main rival, the Shape Seals, know who
was in control.

There were many fast and close races, the Kingfish again had many
swimmers post personal best times and qualify for the season endings
championships in Riccione, Italy.

K-Town fielded 72 swimmers and every one of them contributed to the
overall success of the team. It was a long and event filled day with
many of the parents volunteering and contributing to the overall
success of the swim meet.

The coaches did a great job of pushing the swimmers and keeping them focused on their individual as well as team goals.

The final results were:  Kingfish 1118.5, Shape Seals 701, NATO
Marlins 330, Lakenheath Barracudas 262.5 and the Bamberg Aqua Barons
71.

The Kingfish will travel to Geilenkirchen, Germany for their next meet Saturday.
