Jan. 11
11:55 a.m.: A Soldier was accused of reckless endangerment of road traffic in Wattenheim after a metal bumper fell off of the Soldier’s vehicle and two local nationals drove into it.

2:34 p.m.: A Soldier and his dependent were involved in a domestic disturbance in Konken after they were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

Jan. 12
5 a.m.: A minor traffic accident and fleeing the scene was reported on Rhine Ordnance Barracks after a Soldier hit a fire hydrant while trying to back up. The Soldier claimed the hydrant was previously damaged so he fled the location without reporting the incident.

5:36 a.m.: A domestic assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after an Army officer and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

8 a.m.: A minor traffic accident and fleeing the scene was reported  in Kaiserslautern after a Soldier’s vehicle struck a local national’s vehicle and the Soldier then fled the scene.

4:05 p.m.: A Soldier’s wife was walking with her son in Schrollbach when an unknown dog approached them. The Soldier’s wife placed herself between the dog and her son, resulting in her being bitten on her lower leg.

5 p.m.: A break-in was reported in Ramstein-Miesenbach after an unknown person by unknown means entered through the basement window and took one laptop, one cell phone and two sets of car keys.

5 p.m.: Police reported child endangerment on Vogelweh after they noticed a child sitting in the back seat  of a car without a child safety seat.

Jan. 13
12:22 a.m.: An assault was reported  in Kaiserslautern after a Soldier and a local national were involved in a verbal confrontation that turned physical when the Soldier struck the local national with a closed fist.

1:30 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Einsiedlerhof after they observed an Airman operating a vehicle in an erratic manner. Upon contact, Polizei detected the odor of alcohol.

1:32 a.m.: A domestic assault was reported in Vogelweh Family Housing after a Soldier and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when both pushed each other.

2:49 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern after they stopped a Soldier during a routine DUI checkpoint and detected the odor of alcohol.

Jan. 14
3:44 a.m.: An assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after an investigation revealed two Soldiers were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when one Soldier struck the other in the face.

4:23 a.m.: Polizei reported a Soldier was driving while impaired in Kaiserslautern after they observed him operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. Polizei determined the Soldier was possibly under the influence of an unknown controlled
substance.

Jan. 15
2:40 a.m.: An assault was reported in Kaiserslautern after an unknown man and a Soldier were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. 

2:43 a.m.: An assault was reported on Rhine Ordnance Barracks after two Soldiers were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

2:54 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern after an Airman was observed operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. 

7:55 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern after they observed a Soldier operating his vehicle in an erratic manner.

4:50 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern after a Soldier was observed operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. 

Jan. 17
11:30 p.m.: A break-in was reported in Landstuhl. Investigation revealed someone by unknown means entered a Soldier’s house and took one piggy bank containing approximately €40 in change.
