June 14
8:35 a.m.: An unknown person gained access through the secured front door of an Air Force NCO’s home, denting and scratching the door frame. The estimated cost and loss of removed property is unknown. There are no suspects or witnesses.

June 15
12:22 a.m.: An Airman was reported to be brandishing a machete knife on base. Security forces detained the individual and administered a breathalyzer test. Alcohol was reportedly a factor in the incident. The Airman was advised of his legal rights.

8:34 p.m.:  A Soldier and dependent were involved in a verbal altercation when the Soldier threatened to harm the dependent with a knife. The Soldier was found to have a 4-inch blade in his possession.


June 16
5:31 a.m.: An Airman was driving too fast for road conditions and struck a road curb, resulting in disabling damages to the vehicle. The Airman was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. The Airman was advised of his legal rights.

11 a.m.: A child was walking to the bus when another child pushed him to the ground from behind and began to stomp on his face. The subject was advised of his legal rights.

June 17
9:10 a.m.: An Air Force officer conducted an illegal U-turn, causing a local national’s vehicle to strike her vehicle. The officer had minor injuries to her left shoulder and the local national was transported to Westpfalz Klinikum for chest pains, a bruised right arm, back injuries, whiplash and shock. There were disabling damages to both vehicles.

June 18
10 a.m.: An Air Force NCO and his dependent were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. The dependent said it turned physical when the NCO hit her head against the closet twice. The NCO said it  happened when the dependent struck him in the genital area. Both individuals declined medical attention.

June 19
2:08 p.m.: AAFES security reported theft of private property after someone stole a blue bag from the windowsill behind the counter containing approximately $4,246.43. There are no known suspects or witnesses.

Barments
» A family member’s employment with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service was terminated and he was barred for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

» A family member was barred for her involvement in incidents of assault and affray in the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center.

UCMJ Actions
» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, to a staff sergeant for violation of Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to senior Airman and a reprimand.

» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, to a senior Airman for violation of Article 92, dereliction of duty, Article 107, false official statement, and Article 121, larceny.  The commander imposed punishment of reduction to Airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $919 pay and a reprimand.

» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, to an Airman first  class for violation of Article 86, failure to go, Article 92, failure to obey, and Article 92, dereliction of duty.  The commander imposed punishment of reduction to Airman basic, 30 days restriction, 30 days extra duty, forfeiture of $733 pay and a reprimand.
