DEC. 28
8 a.m.: A major traffic accident involving three POVs took place in Kaiserslautern. Investigation revealed one driver cut off a vehicle in the right lane to avoid an accident with another vehicle.

DEC. 29
9:59 p.m.: An individual was ticketed for driving a USAREUR-plated vehicle with canceled insurance.


DEC. 30
6:30 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. The suspect was advised of his legal rights after a blood alcohol test registered the suspect over the legal limit.

DEC. 31
10 a.m.: A break-in was reported in Hohenecken. Nothing was reported as stolen, but damage was reported after the suspect unfastened the washing machine hose and turned on the water valve, causing flooding.

JAN. 1
1:30 p.m.: Damage and vandalism to government property was reported on the third floor of the AMC. The mounts to the male restroom stall dividers were ripped off.


JAN. 2
9:57 a.m.: A break-in and damage and larceny of private property was reported in Kirchheimbolanden.

JAN. 3
6:27 a.m.: An assault, threat and failure to pay a debt to a taxi driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. Investigation revealed a bill of €13.50 was due to the taxi driver.

» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, to a staff sergeant for violation of Article 111, drunken driving, and Article 134, fleeing the scene. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to senior airman and a reprimand.
