7:28 a.m.: A drunken driver was reported in Kaiserslautern. Investigation revealed Polizei stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic stop and detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver’s breath.

8:19 a.m.: A fleeing the scene of an accident was reported in Geiselberg. Investigation revealed the accident was caused due to excessive speed for road conditions. The motorist departed the scene without contacting authorities.
