Landstuhl provides festive holiday atmosphere Nov. 26, 27

Landstuhl will hold its traditional Christmas market called “St.
Andreasmarkt” Nov. 26 and 27. More than 140 vendors’ stands and booths
will be put up on the decorated streets in the center.

Mayor Klaus Grumer and the Sickinger Herolde fanfare players will
offically open the market at 2 p.m. Nov. 26 in front of Stadthalle.

***image1***Nov. 27, the market will open at 11 a.m. The traditional Christmas
market run will start at 12:30 p.m. near the public swimming pool
Allwetterbad. Stores will open 1 to 6 p.m. The Unnerhaus Jazzband,
dressed up in Santa Claus costumes, will march through the center 3:30
to 6:30 p.m. Under the motto, “Santa Claus is jazz’n in town,” they
will present Christmas songs from the states, Germany and France. The
market will end at 8 p.m.

On both days, a culture Christmas market with 40 vendors selling art and craft items will be held in Stadthalle.

The center will be closed to motorized traffic.
