» A St. Patrick’s Day parade and carnival hosted by Ramstein Youth Programs will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday. The parade will start on Ohio Boulevard at Ramstein Housing and ends at Ramstein Youth Center with a free carnival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The carnival will include performances, games, a contest and activities. Enter the contest by decorating a wagon, buggy, stroller or bike. The winner of the contest receives credit toward instructional classes. A shuttle bus will run between the Youth Center parking lot and the start of the parade route before the event starts.
» A bazaar with children’s clothes, toys, baby equipment and shoes will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Villa Winzig kindergarten, which is located on Dansenberger Strasse 32 in 67661 Kaiserslautern-Dansenberg. Villa Winzig is known for its English teaching project. There will be beverages, coffee, homemade cakes and snacks. Net profits will go to the kindergarten.
» Woodlawn Women’s Golf Association membership sign-up will be held at 1 p.m. March 19. at Woodlawn Golf Course on Ramstein. Players of all abilities are welcome. The 2016 season begins April 1. » “Eggstravaganza,” the annual Easter egg hunt and celebration hosted by Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation, will be held March 26 at Pulaski Park. Classes and Training
» Commanders and senior leaders training is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m the first Thursday of every month. This training is a mandatory requirement within 45 days of assumption of command for all commanders and senior enlisted advisers, E7-E9. Receive information on the Family Advocacy Program, the Exceptional Family Member Program and the Army Emergency Relief Program. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
