Mamma Mia auditions: Warm the German winter with a breezy musical that lightens your heart and puts a song on your lips.  Take your neighbors on a journey to the Greek Isles for a wedding hijacked by a quest for paternity, and a quest for paternity that turns into a second chance at love. We are seeking: Musicians, Performers, Crew. Show dates: February 8 to 10, 15 to 17, and 22 to 24. Auditions will include a 1 minute prepared song (bring backing track), a choreography lesson, and a cold reading. Auditions will be Nov. 26 & 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.  You may attend either day of auditions, located at the KMC OnStage Theater. Adults and 13+ welcome. All Winter White Party: Winter is here and Armstrong’s is ready to party!  Celebrate the All Winter White Party by dressing to impress all in white on Dec. 8. DJ Cutty Tha Creator will be playing all genres of music rocking the party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with no cover charge. Final Weekend Sweeney Todd: A KMC Onstage Production: This Halloween season, KMC OnStage Theater brings to life Sweeney Todd, a bloody theatrical treat that won 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, in its Broadway debut.  This is a revenge tale with an undercurrent of dark romance, as the title character goes on a killing spree to avenge a love he thought he’d lost. Featuring the most chilling soundtrack in the history of the stage, this masterpiece has thrilled and delighted audiences the world over. Baumholder

Bavarian Fairytale Castles: Nov. 10, visit Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany’s most recognized building. Never intended for public eyes, the interior of this fantastic castle is visited by millions of visitors each year, and was the inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland! You will also visit one of King Ludwig’s favorite childhood homes, Hohenschwangau, a ruined medieval castle, purchased and rebuilt by Ludwig’s father, King Maximillian II. “Sew & Tell” classes: For a limited time, Baumholder Arts & Crafts Center is offering sewing classes. This is a unique opportunity to learn sewing techniques that can save you money and make your home more sustainables. Lisa will teach you to create fantastic eco-friendly household items that can be re-used time and time again and made with your favorite fabric and personal touch.  Two separate classes will be offered per item. Holiday Artisan Fair and Flohmarkt: On Nov. 17, the Baumholder Arts and Crafts Center invites you to see, smell, taste, and experience our first annual holiday market!  From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hall of Champions Fitness Center will transform into your home for unique holiday shopping, with custom, homemade, and handcrafted gift items.  There will also be a flohmarkt space dedicated to resale of antique and gently used items.
