Housing maintenance contact details
Housing residents, please take note that the number for housing maintenance in the “Find-it Guide” is not correct.

Effective Oct. 1, 2010, SKE Maintenance is the new KMC Housing Maintenance contractor. All residents of on-base family housing (Ramstein, Vogelweh and Landstuhl) should contact SKE for maintenance issues. The SKE service call number is 06371-463-9510. The number is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.

Government Housing Fact Sheet
Estimated wait times for on-base housing and current housing wait list positions are now posted as links on the Ramstein website under the Government Housing Fact Sheet. Each link is located half way down the fact sheet.
Updates will be made approximately 24 hours after the first and fifth of each month. The address to the Government Housing Fact Sheet is www.ramstein.af.mil/library/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=13945.

Furnishings Management Office
» The 86th Civil Engineer Squadron Furnishings Management Office will be contacting costumers to schedule pick-up of loaner kit items that have been held for more than 90 days. Call FMO at 489-6018 or 0631-536-6018 to schedule pick-up of your loaner items once your household goods have arrived.

» The 86th Civil Engineer Squadron Furnishings Management Office wants you to know: Per AFI 32-6004: Full-JFTR (with dependents) or LIMITED-JFTR (without dependents) determines your entitlement of government furniture support on a loaner basis only. This is authorized on your PCS orders before arrival.

In general, customers are not permitted to keep loaner kits for more than 90 days. Installation commanders may authorize exceptions when circumstances warrant, for example, when the customer experiences hardships, natural disasters or other unforeseen difficulties.
