New process to move household goods

The Ramstein Traffic Management Office expects to bring the new Defense Personal Property Program, known as DP3, online in mid February. 

DP3 is the automated, centralized, integrated web-based management system for the movement of household goods for members of the armed services and Department of Defense civilians. 

The system automates and streamlines much of the process of pre-move counseling, scheduling, tracking, invoicing and claims-filing for household goods shipments.  
In addition, DP3 will provide the convenience of 24/7 access to personal property shipment information and a conduit for a direct relationship between DOD members and the service provider throughout the entire moving process. 

Moving should be a lot less hassle for DOD personnel and their families.
