Members of the Ramstein Chapel and Family Advocacy Outreach hosted a Marriage Care Retreat Aug. 9 through 11 at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch for 35 couples from the KMC.

The couples enjoyed three days of exciting and enriched communication skills classes and were able to practice them together during couple’s time.

On the final day of the retreat, couples were able to reaffirm the commitment they have with one another by renewing their wedding vows.

Chaplain (Maj.) Mike Curtis from the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing Chapel performed the ceremony with the beautiful picturesque Alps in the background.

Couples walked away with great insight and more resources to help them to continue to nurture a successful marriage.
