Ramstein Royals claim lead in fifth inning to defeat Stuttgart Panthers

Game 2: Ramstein 5    Stuttgart 4

Ramstein Royals snagged a late lead and defeated Stuttgart Panthers 5-4 on March 23. The game was tied at four with Ramstein Royals batting in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run for Ramstein Royals.

Ramstein Royals earned the victory despite allowing Stuttgart Panthers to score four runs in the first inning. Stuttgart Panthers scored its runs on a single by Wesley Coglianese.

Stuttgart Panthers got things started in the first inning when Coglianese singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Miles Murphy got the win for Ramstein Royals. He lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Tieran Shoffner threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack Harris took the loss for Stuttgart Panthers. He allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out seven.

Calvin Delp started the game for Ramstein Royals. He surrendered four runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Ramstein Royals totaled seven hits. Chris Guzaldo and Kaden Romleski all managed multiple hits for Ramstein Royals. Romleski and Guzaldo each managed two hits to lead Ramstein Royals.
