Ramstronauts compete in LEGO League

Ramstein Middle School Robotics students competed against 14 teams in the First Lego League hosted in Rockenhausen, Nov. 14.  This group of students, called the Ramstronauts, consisted of 7th and 8th graders and was mentored by RMS Robotics teacher, Tynisa Young. The team won several awards including the “Special Prize” as voted by the organizers for the most Team-Spirited/Best Team Costume. The team was also awarded 4th place for overall research presentation, 3rd place in the Robot Game competition, and 4th place overall for the competition.
