All students must register
All new and returning Kaiserslautern District students must register for the 2006-07 school year. Parents who enrolled students online still need to go to their child’s school to complete registration.

Sign ups for school free lunch
The School Liaison Office will accept applications for the 2006-07 school year Free/Reduced Lunch Program from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Aug. 26 and 27 at the Ramstein BX.

Applicants must bring sponsor’s most recent LES and spouse’s most recent LES/pay stub (if employed). For more information contact the 435th Mission Support Group School Liaison Office at 480-9374 or 06371-47-9374.
 
KAHS welcomes newcomers
Kaiserslautern American High School will host a “Newcomers BBQ” at 11 a.m. Aug. 25 for all new KAHS students and their families.

KES hosts back to school BBQ
Kaiserslautern Elementary School will host orientation and BBQ for new students and their parents at 11 a.m. Thursday  in the Kaiserslautern American High School auditorium.

Children in grades 1-5 start school Aug. 28. A kindergarten orientation will be 8:30 a.m. Aug. 28 in the KAHS auditorium and the first day of school for them is Sept. 5

RAES and RIS needs volunteers
Ramstein American Elementary School needs volunteers on Monday at the school to move furniture and sort through excess materials. Anyone who would like to volunteer can call Geoff Fong at 480-3996 or 480-2017.
Ramstein Intermediate School officials also need assistance Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone available on those days who would like to volunteer can call Mike at 480-6021 or 480-6023.

RAHS class schedules ready
Properly registered students may pick up their class schedules at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Ramstein American High School. For more information, call 480-7640.
