National Library Week
Celebrate National Library Week through Saturday at Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl, Bldg. 3810. In celebration of this year’s theme, “Libraries Transform,” the Rheinland-Pfalz Library has fun programs geared towards all ages. Stop by and see what is available. In addition, the library staff will visit various Java Cafes throughout the community today for instruction on electronic content. You will find them from 7 to 9 a.m. at LRMC Java Cafe, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Java Cafe, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kleber Kaserne Java Cafe. Bring your e-reader, tablet or iPad, and staff will show you how to access the ever expanding e-content. No registration required.
Earth Day at the library
Join Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl, Bldg. 3810, from 3 to 4 p.m. April 22 to celebrate Earth Day. All ages are invited to create their own egg carton garden. All materials will be provided. No registration required.
Fairy tales celebration
Join Rheinland-Pfalz Library in Landstuhl, Bldg. 3810, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 23 for a fairy tale celebration with a puppet show, crafts and more. All ages are welcome and encouraged to dress up. No registration required.
Career Day presenters needed
Ramstein Intermediate School will host its third annual Career Day from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. April 29. The entire day will be devoted to interactive career presentations for students from the third, fourth and fifth grades. Static displays, props and tools are welcomed. Military, civilian and host-nation volunteers have generously offered their time to introduce a variety of career options to our students. Mother’s Day Preschool Storytime

Strong B.A.N.D.S. StoryWalk
Celebrate the Strong B.A.N.D.S. campaign at Rheinland-Pfalz Library. Regularly scheduled storytimes will go outdoors to walk and listen to great stories. Clubs at Landstuhl School Age Center
Did you know that Landstuhl School Age Center has several different clubs open to students, grades one to five? The different weekly clubs include cooking, sewing, robotics and film. Registration with Child, Youth and School Services is required. Enrollment fees are based on total family income. Join the Rheinland-Pfalz Library for Lapsit Storytime. This infant storytime is held at 10:30 a.m and 1 p.m. every Thursday. The event includes sensory crafts, songs, fingerplays and stories. Light refreshments are available for the parents. Because of limited space, sign-up is required for every storytime. A wait list is also available, in which parents are notified the Saturday prior if a space has become available.
