Vogelweh Elementary School held its second annual STEAM Night March 23. The interactive event consisted of 23 different hands-on activities relating to science, technology, engineering, art and math. Parents and students were able to participate in activities such as DNA extraction, glow slime, magic milk, line design, math games, Hour of Code and more. The focus of the event was to get families involved in STEAM activities. More than 250 people participated in STEAM Night, among which were special guests Col. Curtis Juell, 86th Mission Support Group commander; Dr. Dell McMullen, Department of Defense Education Activity Europe director; and Sarah Boroski, Kaiserslautern area school liaison.
