***image1***At Sembach Elementary School students set the standard for behavior. Thirty-five students helped create a mural on the playground to remind each other of behaviors they expect.
Children are currently learning the peacemaking skills of respect and responsibility to build a safe place to play and learn.
According to school officials, school is a place where students learn to accept and appreciate differences, where friendships can flourish, and where learning can soar.
“We painted the rules so kids don’t treat each other bad and grow up to be mean people,” said Bradley, a third-grader.
This is a Sembach Elementary School project for kids by kids.
