Service Culture Spotlight: Anna Wilkins

NAME: Anna Wilkins

JOB: Executive Assistant,
U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Command Group

HER SHINING MOMENT: Managing a web of schedules, streamlining communication with the command team, gathering data and information for command and assisting staff to prepare for meetings in the command conference room. Anna handles 200 to 400 pieces of correspondence, 160 calls and sorts through 750 emails while meeting face to face with 100+ clients every month. Anna is a critical cog in ensuring those who PCS, retire or earn an award receive a certificate and ceremony worthy of U.S. Army standards by proofreading, coordinating and returning each item to the Directorate of Human Resources.

WHY SHE LOVES HER JOB: “I enjoy being able to see the big picture of the garrison. I can now see how each directorate’s part comes together to form this great garrison. The diversity of the requirements for this position keeps things from getting dull. I love being a part of this team — they are like family.”
