USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Youth Sports and Fitness Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider

USAG RP Youth Sports and Fitness has been awarded the Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider designation by the National Alliance for Youth Sports. Earning the Better Sports for Kids Quality Program designation demonstrates that USAG RP Youth Sports and Fitness has taken steps to ensure a safe and quality playing environment for children. USAG RP Youth Sports and Fitness has proven it meets key requirements in five categories — Written Policies and Procedures, Volunteer Screening, Coach Training, Parent Education and Accountability. KMC Soccer Availabilities

Still looking for an opportunity to join a soccer club? The KMC District Soccer is still accepting registrations for this year’s season. KMC is the largest district in Southern Germany affiliated with the U.S. Youth Soccer Europe program. All teams, including adults, play in the Deutscher Fussball-Bund (German Football Association). Women’s Soccer

The KMC District USYS Women’s Soccer team is looking for players. The team is coached by a professionally licensed German soccer player, and meets Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. just outside RAB in Schwedelbach. RHS Volunteer Coaches

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a martial art and combat sport of attack and defense in which competitors wear boxing gloves and throw punches as in boxing and kick with their bare feet as in Karate and many other martial arts. Kickboxing is a combination of combat techniques; self-defense sport, exercise and philosophy. The art in general emphasizes kicks thrown from a mobile stance using the legs’ greater reach and power to disable the opponent from a distance. It is not only kicking and boxing, but a way of thinking and living. The main goal in kickboxing is to achieve total body physical fitness through proper training. Available for ages 6+. Soccer for girls

The Kottweiler-Schwanden Sports Club is looking for girls born in the years 2006 up to 2010 for its youngest girls’ soccer team. The sports club has four girls’ teams and two women’s teams. They are also looking for new players. This is the opportunity to get involved in a German soccer club playing with German and American girls. Coaches are all able to speak English. Happy Feet youth soccer program

Introduce your children ages 2 to 3 to the fun sport of soccer. Parents alongside their children are shown the basic soccer skills as well as developing the child’s motor, social and psychological skills. Inspire your toddler to be active, strong, confident and well balanced to unleash their awesome both on and off the field. Beginning April, modules will use fundamental soccer activities and games to develop their skills in balance, agility and coordination, technical skills, gross motor skills, physical development, social skills, self-confidence, communication and teamwork. Open to boys and girls from ages 2-3 and all military I.D. cardholders that are registered with CYS Services.
