Combatives Invitational

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Sports and Fitness will host a Combatives Invitational at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kleber Fitness Center. Registration and weigh-in will be from 8 to 9:15 a.m. and a coaches meeting from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. Open to all active-duty service members (male and female), ages 18 and older. Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each category and overall. Free for participants; $5 spectator fee for ages 12 and older. St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a fun 5K Run/Walk at 10 a.m. March 12. Registration will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event at Landstuhl Fitness Center, Bldg. 3720. Disc Golf at Pulaski Park

Outdoor Recreation now offers Disc Golf at Pulaski Park. Grab a team, pick up a Frisbee and take advantage of this interactive flying disc game that requires precision and accuracy. Parent exercise room

The Landstuhl and Sembach fitness centers each bring you an exercise room for parents that features the latest in cardio equipment and offers a play area for your little ones to safely play or watch movies while you workout. Youth indoor soccer clinics

SKIESUnlimited offers winter indoor soccer clinics for youth at the indoor soccer arena inside the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Special Events Center, Bldg. 237. The licensed coaching staff is made up of current German team coaches and former professional, first-division soccer players. Open to all skill levels, ages 3 to 17 years old. Youth will develop basic and fundamental soccer skills as well as tactics, formations and more. With regular training and practices of specific techniques, coaches will guide children along fun-filled, yet challenging drills and scrimmages. This instills good sportsmanship and team spirit, a high personal fitness level and a passion to reach their best soccer potential while building confidence in soccer movements.
