‘Tour of Duty’ brings Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson to Ramstein

***image1***Ramstein members are gearing up to host the Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson “Tour of Duty” show happening in Hangar 1 here today.

The show, which will feature musical performances, skits and special appearances by guest stars, including Willie Nelson, Brian McKnight, Jimmy Kimmel and the band Big & Rich, is free and open to Department of Defense ID holders.

Doors for the event are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. and military members are strongly encouraged to wear their military uniforms.

There will be two lines at the entrance to the hangar.

One line will be for military members in uniform. They will be allowed entrance first so the first 10 feet in front of the stage are all active-duty personnel in uniform.

***image2***The other line will be for military members who wish to stand with their families or other DOD ID card holders who are not in uniform.

According to security officials, attendees are asked not to bring cameras, video recorders or strollers to the performance area. There will be no storage available for unauthorized items.

Free shuttle service to Hangar 1 will be provided at the Ramstein Base Exchange parking lot facing the Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe entrance today from 5 to 7 p.m., and again for one hour after the show.

Parking at the hangar site is limited.
The show will be aired stateside on ABC-TV in May.
