Performing arts:

Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern:

• Summer break ends with a theater fest, 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. An opening concert takes place from 8 to 10 p.m.

• “Attila,” an opera by Guiseppe Verdi, in Italian, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 17, 21 and 30.

Kammgarn Kaiserslautern:

• Display of paintings, photos and mixed-media presentations, today through Sept. 24. Admission is free.

• Lulu Weiss Ensemble presents Sinti jazz, 8 p.m. Thursday. Tickets cost €19.

• White Miles presents rock alternative, 8 p.m. Sept. 16. Tickets cost €15.

• Nuit de la Chanson: Host Pauline Ngoce presents the duet Toi et Moi, and Julia Klomfass and Raphael Hansen, 8 p.m. Sept. 16 in the carpenter shop. Tickets cost €19.

• Music students present a bassoon concert, “Fagottisomo,” to celebrate the 80th birthday of their professor, 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost €18.
