Women’s History Month: Ramstein Events


• Saturday: Scrapbooking class, 10 a.m., Bldg. 2251 CRC (see demos and learn techniques)

• Thursday: Women’s History Month luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Ramstein Officers’ Club: tickets are $10; chicken breast or veggie lasagna to be served; scheduled events include Girl Scout flag ceremony, middle school essay contest reading; guest speaker will be Col. Angela Thompson, 435th Medical Group commander

• March 15: Self-defense class, noon, A&FRC, Bldg. 2120, Room 105 (bring lunch & learn some defensive techniques)

• March 21: Commissary cooking class, 11:30 a.m.; watch a cooking demonstration and enjoy the delicious feast

• March 22: Women’s Health class, noon, A&FRC, Bldg. 2120, Room 105, bring lunch and learn about the new HPV vaccine

• March 29: Nutrition class, noon, place TBD; bring lunch and learn how to translate labels into good nutrition.
