Youth soccer kicks off

***image1***The U.S. Youth Soccer, KMC district, is gearing up for the 2007-2008 German soccer season. The USYS program is for kids who were born in 1989 to 1999 and is part of the U.S. Olympic Development Program selection process. USYS allows American youth to receive specialized training in line with philosophies needed to compete against German teams, as well as other American teams throughout Europe. Practices, tournaments and camps are designed to try and fit into German leagues and MWR sports program schedules.  Registration and initial training will be Aug. 25 at Kapuan Air Station. Times are: kids born in 1997 to 1999, 1 p.m.; kids born in 1995 to 1996, 2 p.m.; kids born in 1993 to 1994, 3 p.m.; kids born in 1991 to 1992, 4 p.m.; kids born in 1989 to 1990, 5 p.m.  For more information, e-mail James Otto, Ottojames@hotmail.com, or Barbara Hansen, barbb89sunny@yahoo.com.
