The Allied Air Component Command Headquarters Ramstein recently held
its annual awards luncheon and proudly announces their annual award
winners. The only winner not pictured below is Maj. Rex Saukkonen, who
was named the Field Grade Officer of the Year.
A group of Airmen and USAF civilians are being invited to become the
Air Force
This April, the Department of Defense takes a concerted stand against
sexual assault as it observes Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Airmen may now be granted a special liberty pass in conjunction with
leave without requiring a duty day between the pass and leave periods.
Airmen must be physically present in the local area when departing and
returning from leave.
Airmen with orders to, or who are currently in, specific high-threat
areas such as the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility or the
Korean Peninsula are required to begin or continue the anthrax vaccine
series of inoculations.
Drivers heading to Ramstein may want to think a bit more carefully
about their need for speed. In the past few months, Ramstein security
forces have issued hundreds of tickets to motorists for driving in
excess of posted speed limits while approaching and exiting Ramstein
